Health & Beauty of Women

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month is a platform to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer. Breast Cancer is the second most common cancer found in women, but many women can survive if it's found and treated early!

Catalyst care so deeply for the health and beauty of all women, so this month we took some time to raise awareness for breast cancer! Here's how Catalyst contributed in 2018 to Breast Cancer Awareness Month...

A Change in Wardrobe...

It's easy to help raise awareness for breast cancer by adding a touch of pink to your wardrobe! Catalyst staff sported their pink apparel at the clinic during the month of October. We also had a bra decorating station for staff to use their creative minds to make something fun and beautiful!

Donations

Throughout the month of October, Catalyst staff and patients were invited to donate towards the cause! All proceeds have been donated to The American Cancer Society. With our donations, we can help those who are still struggling with cancer.

If a staff member or patient donated, they got the opportunity to fill out a bra with a survivors name or a message. These bras were displayed in our patient lobbies!

Through the generosity of donations like these, the Breast Cancer Charities of America can continue to assist women and men who are battling breast cancer.
