Role Summary

Catalyst Medical Center is hiring a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to lead day-to-day clinical care in our ENT (Otolaryngology) and Allergy service line. This is a high-opportunity clinical role: following the closure of a major local competitor’s allergy practice, Catalyst has absorbed a significant and growing volume of complex allergy patients and seen meaningful growth in allergy testing volume. This role is central to capturing that market opportunity — delivering excellent, patient-centered ENT and Allergy care while helping the practice continue to grow this specialty line. The PA will work under a formal Collaboration/Supervision Agreement with the supervising physician, managing an independent patient panel across ENT and Allergy, including allergy testing and immunotherapy, while partnering closely with the physician, nursing, and administrative teams to ensure high-quality, well-coordinated care. Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care — ENT & Allergy

- Provide direct patient care for ENT (Otolaryngology) and Allergy patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care within scope of practice and under physician supervision.
- Perform and interpret allergy skin testing; oversee immunotherapy (allergy shot) administration and desensitization protocols.
- Manage a defined patient care schedule (patient care hours to be specified in the employment agreement), balancing new patient intake, follow-ups, and procedural time.
- Coordinate pre- and post-operative care for ENT surgical patients in partnership with the supervising physician and surgery center, as needed.
- Refer and coordinate care with other specialists (e.g., dermatology, primary care) as clinically appropriate.

Documentation, Compliance & Coding

- Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW) in accordance with Catalyst’s charting standards and turnaround expectations.
- Ensure coding and billing accuracy for all ENT and Allergy services rendered, in partnership with the RCM/billing team.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and Catalyst policies.
- Operate within the written Collaboration/Supervision Agreement; promptly flag any request to expand scope of practice (e.g., an additional specialty) for review and formal written amendment before taking it on.

Practice Growth & Market Opportunity

- Support Catalyst’s continued growth in ENT & Allergy — an area of significant regional demand following the closure of a major local competitor’s allergy practice.
- Help grow allergy testing and immunotherapy volume, a key revenue and patient-outcomes driver for the practice.
- Partner with the Director of Operations and marketing team on outreach, referral relationships (e.g., primary care, urgent care), and patient access initiatives to capture continued market share.
- Identify opportunities to expand services within ENT & Allergy (e.g., new testing panels, additional procedures) in partnership with the supervising physician.

Collaboration & Team Support

- Work closely with the supervising physician(s), nursing staff, and patient service staff to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.
- Participate in regular structured check-ins/mentorship meetings with the supervising physician, particularly during onboarding and ramp-up.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture consistent with Catalyst’s values.

Professional Development

- Maintain PA-C licensure and NCCPA certification, including required continuing medical education (CME).
- Stay current on ENT and Allergy/Immunology clinical guidelines, treatment protocols, and industry best practices.
- Pursue additional specialty training or certifications as mutually agreed with the supervising physician.

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted PA-C license in the state(s) of practice (North Dakota and/or Minnesota, as applicable — to be confirmed based on final location).
Current NCCPA certification in good standing.
Current DEA registration, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
Prior clinical experience in Otolaryngology (ENT) and/or Allergy/Immunology strongly preferred; new graduates with demonstrated interest in ENT/Allergy will be considered, contingent on a structured mentorship plan.
Experience with allergy skin testing, immunotherapy administration, and desensitization protocols is a plus.
Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) or a comparable EHR/PM system preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to independently manage a multi-condition caseload within scope of practice.
Excellent bedside manner and patient communication skills, particularly with complex or chronic allergy patients.
Ability to collaborate effectively with the supervising physician(s), nursing staff, and administrative team.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing specialty practice.

Supervision & Scope of Practice

This role will be governed by a written Collaboration/Supervision Agreement with the supervising physician, consistent with applicable state PA practice act requirements. Scope of practice will be explicitly defined in that agreement and updated in writing — with any related compensation discussion — before any material expansion of duties (e.g., adding a new specialty area) is assigned. Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $118,000 annually, based on a defined number of patient care hours per week specified in the offer and employment agreement.
Production/Incentive Bonus: Eligible for an incentive bonus tied to production and quality thresholds, consistent with Catalyst’s existing Provider Incentive Plan.
CME Allowance: $2,000 per contract year.

Certified Medical Assistant or LPN (Full-Time) - Fargo, ND

Catalyst Medical Center + Clinical Spa is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant or LPN to support providers and ensure the efficient operation of our clinic. This role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities such as preparing patients for exams, documenting medical information, assisting with procedures, and maintaining patient records. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day shift | In-person clinic setting

Key Responsibilities

Greet and prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and recording vital signs • Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures
Prepare and clean exam rooms and medical instruments
Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) system • Collect and prepare specimens and assist with routine clinical tasks
Support in-office procedures and dermatologic treatments when applicable
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-ups
Answer phone calls and assist with patient inquiries
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Provide patient education and instructions for treatments, medications, and follow-up care

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant program completion preferred
