susan mathison, md
Our Founder, Dr. Susan M. Mathison, is a Stanford-educated, triple-board certified physician. She’s received numerous accolades for leadership and Top Doctor for her clinical skills. Dr. Mathison has been the pioneer of the region, bringing Botox to Fargo over two decades ago!
While Dr. Mathison enjoys helping patients in many ways, Facial Plastic Surgery is her main focus of passion and expertise. Facial plastic surgery offers cosmetic or reconstructive medical care to the face, head, and neck. It is a specialty within the field of otolaryngology, also known as ear, nose, and throat medicine. Facial plastic surgery usually reshapes specific parts of the head and neck, including the nose, ears, chin, cheekbones, and neck or jawline. This might include:
- Skin cancer reconstruction
- Birthmark removal by laser or surgery
- Brow lifts
- Eyelid surgery
- Facelifts
- Rhinoplasty (nose job)
- Lip lifts
- Buccal fat removal
- Plus, many non-invasive and minimally invasive treatments like injectables, lasers and skin care.
Dr. Mathison has helped many children with facial injuries from dog bites or falls, and has done surgery for women who’ve suffered from domestic violence.
She is involved in several organizations in the Fargo-Moorhead community, including Dakota Medical Foundation, TedXFargo, and The Choice Financial Board.

Ally has been a part of the beauty industry for almost a decade, and she loves the fact that she’s never stopped learning or growing as things evolve.
She loves spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and their corgi! It is never a dull moment in her house!
brandi, rn, rvt
Brandi spent the first 3 years of her career as a charge nurse in long term care, followed by 4 years of traveling across the US and training physicians/clinicians and staff on aesthetic laser equipment. She became a Sclerotherpist in 2007 and a registered vascular tech RVT in 2009.
Brandi has a hefty 20 years of experience in treating varicose and cosmetic veins. She loves the vein industry because she’s been able to help SO many people with the comprehensive vein care approach. She also loves educating people about veins & treatments, and witnessing the instant gratification as the veins disappear immediately upon injection!
In her own words, “I love team Catalyst because of the ‘patient centered’ care that is at the forefront of our values. You are not just a number here, that is for sure! It will be a great collaboration as Dr. Mathison adds comprehensive vein care to what Catalyst Medical already has to offer.”
Outside of work, Brandi loves spending time with her boyfriend Brock, her two kiddos Taya & Grady, and their dogs Harper & Hazel. She also enjoys yoga, the ocean and sunshine, wine, and good food.
Brandi graduated from Concordia College Tri Nursing Consortium in 2002. She has also served on the board for HERO Fargo for 9 years, and is currently in her 3rd year as Board Chair.
robyn, rn, bsn
Robyn’s specialty is liquid facelift with HA dermal fillers. She also loves bio stimulators such as Sculptra and PRFM, and will always love injecting all the neuromodulators.
Robyn enjoys working with Scarlett, Neogen, and Agnes at Catalyst. She’s so glad to be at Catalyst and a part of Dr. Mathison’s vision.
Alexis, rn, bsn
Alexis has 3 years of NICU experience and has recently pursued her passion of becoming a Nurse Injector. Her goal is to enhance people’s natural beauty by making them feel confident in their own skin.
In her free time you can catch her running around with her 2 kiddos, at the lake, or spending quality time with family and friends.
Nancy, rn, ADN
Nancy has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry as a master cosmetologist. She has always enjoyed helping others to feel confident about their appearance and is enthusiastic about taking a more clinical approach as an aesthetic nurse.
Nancy spends her time away from Catalyst with her two children, extended family and friends, and can often be found tending her garden or painting in her home studio.

Kayleigh was born and raised in Fargo. She worked as a Real Estate Agent for two years, in Family Practice for two years, in an OB/GYN clinic for 9 years, and in Maternal-Fetal Medicine for 2 years.
Her calling as a nurse has always been taking care of people and making them feel beautiful inside and out. She has a passion for anti-aging, beauty, make-up, aesthetics, and plastic surgery.
Kayleigh loves to sing and spend time with her two little boys and their three chihuahuas named Princess, Zoey, and Mya.
Kim, lpn
Kim brings 7 years of nursing experience in General Surgery focused on benign and malignant diseases of the breast and 1 year in OBGYN.
Kim is passionate about empowering others to feel confident in their skin. She celebrates individuality and encourages everyone to embrace their uniqueness!
In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and their dog, being outside in their pool, watching her kids play baseball, and having neighborhood bonfires.

From her first skincare routine in the 5th grade, and 10+ years as a Master Aesthetician, and Certified Oncology Aesthetician, it’s no surprise D’Ann’s passion is helping her clients see, feel, and express their unique beauty!
She loves working with clients to create custom-tailored treatment plans, and some of her favorite products are Vitamin C, Retinol, and Tretinoin Her mantra is prioritizing time for yourself, loving yourself, and loving the skin your in!
Her free time is dedicated to making memories with her 2 grandboys and newly added granddaughter!
liz, master aesthetician
Liz has been a Master Aesthetician since 2021 and her passion is helping people feel beautiful in their skin! Her favorite treatment to receive is a dermaplane and her favorite treatment to do is a hydrafacial + dermaplane!
Liz loves to travel, spend time at her lake, and be with her family in her free time!
raeann, master aesthetician
RaeAnn graduated from The Salon Professional Academy and holds an AA degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
She has a strong passion for creating custom skincare plans with her patients, utilizing medical-grade products and services to help them achieve their skincare goals. She believes in an ethical, results-driven approach while educating patients to fit their needs. Her favorite services are Hydrafacials and Dermaplanes!
In her free time, she enjoys being at the lake and spending time with her friends and family.
