The Clinic Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and patient support in a multi-specialty clinic environment. This role includes patient assessment, treatment, education, and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, compassionate, and skilled in clinical procedures and patient interaction.

This is a full-time position with hours ranging from 7:30 AM – 6 PM, Monday-Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing (ADN or BSN).
  • Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Dakota.
  • Experience:  Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a clinic, hospital, or similar healthcare setting.
  • Skills:
    Proficiency in clinical nursing procedures and medical terminology.

    – Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
    – Familiarity with EHR systems and basic computer proficiency.
  • Certifications:  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Patient Care: 
    – Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and identifying immediate medical concerns. 
    – Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians or specialists during clinical procedures. 
    – Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Care Coordination: 
    – Collaborate with medical staff, including doctors and specialists, to develop, implement, and modify patient care plans. 
    – Coordinate with external medical providers and services to ensure comprehensive patient care. 
    – Educate patients and their families on care plans, treatment procedures, medication instructions, and health maintenance.
  • Clinical Procedures: 
    – Perform clinical tasks such as wound care, dressing changes, and basic laboratory procedures (e.g., drawing blood, specimen collection). 
    -Ensure the safe and appropriate use of medical equipment. 
    -Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment in exam rooms and workstations. 
  • Documentation and Compliance: 
    – Accurately document patient interactions, care provided, and treatment outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) system. 
    – Maintain compliance with clinic policies and healthcare regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA standards. 
    – Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to process improvements. 
  • Patient Support and Education: 
    – Provide guidance and counseling to patients on health and wellness practices. 
    – Address patient inquiries and concerns, offering reassurance and solutions within the scope of practice. 
    – Support follow-up care by scheduling appointments, arranging for specialist consultations, and coordinating laboratory work. 
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: 
    – Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and clinic workflow. 
    – Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities. 
    – Support administrative tasks as needed, including inventory management of medical supplies.

The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers and ensuring the efficient operation of clinics. This position includes both administrative and clinical responsibilities, such as preparing patients for exams, recording medical information, assisting with procedures, and maintaining patient records. We are hiring a full-time Medical assistant with hours ranging from 7:30 AM – 6 PM, Monday-Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:  High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Experience:  Previous experience as a medical assistant or in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Skills:

  • Patient Care and Preparation: 
    – Greet and prepare patients for examination by taking medical histories, recording vital signs, and assisting with patient intake. 
    – Prepare examination rooms, including sterilizing and setting up instruments and supplies. 
    – Assist healthcare providers during exams and minor procedures. 
  • Clinical Duties: 
    – Perform routine laboratory tests, collect and prepare specimens, and administer basic treatments as directed by healthcare providers. 
    – Conduct basic wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes under provider guidance. 
  • Administrative Support: 
    – Schedule appointments, coordinate patient follow-ups, and manage patient flow to ensure timely and efficient clinic operations. 
    – Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide information on clinic services. 
    – Assist with billing and coding for insurance claims, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. 
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: 
    – Accurately document patient information, treatments, and procedures in the electronic health record (EHR) system. 
    – Maintain confidentiality of patient information and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. 
    – Update patient records and support data entry as needed. 
  • Patient Education and Communication: 
    – Provide clear instructions and patient education on treatments, medications, and follow-up care. 
    – Address patient questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

JOB DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Meet with aesthetic patients and provide customized recommendations for fillers, neurotoxins, and/or skincare services based on a comprehensive analysis and evaluation. Answer any questions they might have, and build their confidence by serving as a warm, professional, competent advisor and provider
  • Develop plans with each patient to make sure their personal appearance and wellness goals are met. Work with medical director to provide recommendations and treatment plans for all wellness patients under your care 
    Administer injectable treatments (neurotoxins, dermal fillers, etc.) in a professional clinical atmosphere
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort and smooth flow of patient care in your center at all times 
  • Maintain accurate charting and clinical documentation for every patient under your care; update all patient files within Catalyst Clinical Spa’s timing policies (typically same day) and ensure all members of the medical staff do the same
  • Be familiar with Catalyst’s membership programs and promotions so that you can make a recommendation if appropriate that will help a patient save money, maximize results, or try a new treatment that might be a good fit for them
  • Follow Catalyst Clinical Spa procedures for patient check-in, check-out, rooming, follow-ups, and other aspects of daily operation
  • Work with center manager and medical team to ensure adequate inventory of product, medical supplies, and other materials are in stock at all times
  • Problem-solve and proactively find solutions to issues that arise, always working to prioritize safety, compliance, and patient experience

  • Answers incoming internal calls to greet, schedule appointments, and service patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Converts Catalyst Clinical Spa questions into appointments
  • Explains all Catalyst Clinical Spa products, services, and treatments to patients to assist them with determining their individual needs
  • Suggesting add-ons to product and services
  • Completes outgoing confirmation calls if needed and ensures all appointments are confirmed at the start of every day
  • Answers all texts through our booking system in a timely manner
  • Keeps the schedule organized and individually checks every appointment to ensure the day is set up for success – both at the front and for the providers

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of customer service experience and/or hospitality experience
  • Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to work flexible hours mainly between 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday 
  • Previous experience working in ENT, Allergy, or Dermatology,
    preferred but not required

  • Room patient and obtain HPI
  • Prepare supplies in work area for procedures/treatments 
  • Oversee preparation of exam rooms which include restocking medical supplies,
    educational materials and pharmaceutical supplies and samples 
  • Obtain and document patient vitals, conditions, and reactions to treatments 
  • Return patient phone messages, triage incoming calls, pre-certify surgical and other
    procedures 
  • Maintain patient confidentiality, including HIPAA and practice specific compliance
    guidelines 
  • Attend and maintain training relevant to role, including practice management software,
    CPR, OSHA, and HIPAA
